About Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana (2007)
Italian fragrance designers Dolce & Gabbana struck gold with Light Blue when they released it in 2007. In 2008 it won a FIFA Award for fragrance of the year. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana teamed up with Oliver Cresp to develop a cologne that was inspired Sicily, which is their home near the Mediterranean.

Light blue is listed as a “classic balanced fragrance”. The fragrance consists of notes of Sicilian Mandarin, Frozen Grape Fruit Peel, Russian Pepper, Rosemary, and Oak Moss.
To me, Light Blue fits into the category of light, citrus, fresh colognes like most any other colognes. Where it stands out from others is the hint of pepper you get when you inhale it deeply. This cologne reminds me slightly of baby oil, but I don’t want it to say it’s an over powering scent.
