What does it smell like?

The description of “intoxication of the senses” is correct with 1 Million. The cologne is advanced in nature and can be considered offensive which is why it is not recommended for daytime use.

The cologne is warm and spicy with the most noticeable note to surface is cinnamon. When I smell it, I certainly get a leathery scent along with a strong amber taste to it.

This cologne I repeat is not simple like other citrus colognes. It has a feeling of several distinct powerful notes all at once. This is definitely considered a situational colognes and might not be liked by all people.

Strength – As one of the best men’s cologne brands for nightlife, its strength and projection is certainly part of the reason behind it! More so than many other brands of men’s cologne, 1 Million by Paco Rabanne is strong and extremely far reaching. This is good if you understand how and where the best cologne application spots are, but also means that you can very easily apply too much! 1 Million can become far too sickly sweet if not careful!
Longevity – If it wasn’t enough that this was one of the best men’s cologne for nightlife due to its strength, it should last you a LONG time too! Where the majority of even the best cologne for men brands might die out on you after 4 – 6 hours, 1 Million should still be going strong for at least 6 – 8 hours!
Occasion – 1 Million by Paco Rabanne, while one of the best men’s cologne that you’ll find for going out, I would not necessarily use it as an everyday cologne. Although there are few that would say it’s inappropriate for such an occasion, there are simply better and more subtle options for these different times and places.

Popularity is not such a good thing

Thanks to the amazing smell, “One Million” has become quite popular and usually, every man that wants to draw attention on himself will buy it. However, this is not always a good thing. According to some reviewers, they refused at first to buy this particular fragrance specifically because of its popularity, because that meant that they wouldn’t stand out in the crowd anymore, since probably everybody in the crowd already knew the smell. This is one of the downsides of this fragrance by Paco Rabanne.

Only buy Paco Rabanne if you’re looking for a cologne that will get you noticed. 1 Million is one of the most loved/hated colognes on the market today, but yet it is still hugely popular. You will find this cologne getting abused by high schoolers but oddly enough, you can also find the older generation of 30-40s using this cologne in various situations.

Don’t use this cologne for work if you’re around people all day.
